The entire existence of the Office of Minister of Children is based on youth. The children. They are the future of our dream.
Let us give our future Kings, Queens, Peers, and Knights the opportunity to become people who want to be a part of this alternate universe we have created called the current middle ages.
Let us give them classes geared toward their interests, games they like to play, opportunities to be recognized, and to serve. Let them have people who are interested in what they want to do, and what they have accomplished, helping them to grow. Let us expose our youth to the best things about the SCA.
Let us give our youth grand memories of what they did in the SCA as children, young lords and ladies, so that when they have children of their own they can pass those memories on. Our only Immortality in this world is what our children remember.
Let us look to the future, knowing that we have had a hand in shaping the Dream to come.
